Spring Celebrations: March Events

Prepare for a March that is full of celebrations to send off winter in style.

Brew-Ski Festival

Boyne Highlands celebrates the 10th Annual Brew-Ski festival on March 8 and 9, 2019 with representatives from over 150 breweries, and over 250 beers. The fun kicks off Friday evening with a Preview Party for exclusive early tastings, and Battle of the Breweries at Zoo Bar. Then, at noon on Saturday, several snow bars will dot the slopes, perfect for sampling unique beers in between runs. Live music and food trucks add to the festivities, while Zoo Bar will host an after party starting at 4:30pm. Plus, a new VIP package is available for $25 that includes one food ticket and three drink tickets, VIP brew, VIP lounge area, t-shirt, and commemorative pint glass.

Kids’ Festival Weekend

Enjoy Boyne Mountain’s Kids’ Festival Weekend with tons of complimentary activities and events geared toward kids of every age on the weekend of March 8-10, 2019! Bring the kids to experience non-stop family fun with inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, extreme dual air jumpers, rock wall, horse-drawn sleigh rides, après-ski parties, family movies, scavenger hunts, fun contests, and more! Both on and off the slopes, the kids are sure to be entertained all day long at this annual event that gives winter a glorious send off.

Krazy Daze

A family friendly event hosted by Boyne Highlands to celebrate upcoming spring season, Krazy Daze occurs on a yearly basis. This year on March 16, dress up in your costume and enjoy live music, food, drinks, activities, and events tailored for all ages. The Silly Slalom and Ski Over the Pond are among favorite friendly competitions, and the fun continues all day long with kids’ activities, and an evening party.

Spring Break

Spend your Spring Break 'up north' and enjoy a relaxing retreat, or final goodbye to winter. Find rejuvenation for winter skin with a full range of treatments at The Spa at Inn at Bay Harbor, and enjoy a relaxing soak in our outdoor hot tub. Plus explore the region's quaint surrounding downtown areas and think spring as you shop new items. Our sister resorts, Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands will be open to skiers and snowboarders most of March weather permitting, so it's a perfect time to enjoy some time on the slopes before the season ends! And if getting in some pool time is on your must-have list, look no further than Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark at Boyne Mountain, offering fun for kids and adults alike at 84 degrees.

Whether you're saying your goodbyes to winter, or celebrating the upcoming spring season, March events in northern Michigan hold something for everyone to enjoy.
