Dark Sky Park

You'll never see the northern night the same way again after experiencing the beauty of the stars from the Headlands International Dark Sky Park. Without nearby light pollution in the 550 acre park, the Headlands was one of the first 10 parks in the world to earn the designation. With acres of forest, and over two miles of undeveloped Lake Michigan shoreline, the park is a wonderful place to stargaze, view special sky events like meteor showers, and explore Michigan's beatuy all year round.
