Gear Up for an Active Summer with the 14th Annual Mackinaw Memorial Bridge Run! Being one of the only two unique opportunities runners are allowed to run across the "Mighty Mac".
Runners must register in advance and be able to run a minimum of 12 minutes per mile to race in the event. Event begins at 6am.Event Registration
A USATF Certified Course to benefit the Top of Michigan Trails Council and Petoskey High School sports teams.
The marathon race will be run on a beautiful course made of asphalt starting in Charlevoix, then runs through Petoskey and finishes in Harbor Springs. The trail is an excellent venue for runners stepping up to a marathon or seasoned runners looking for a fast time. The trail is relatively flat and perfect for getting a qualifying time for other races. There is a grassy half-mile section run on the bluff in Bay View (to avoid pedestrian traffic). Runners will enjoy many spectacular views of the Little Traverse Bay. In addition, there is a 10k race/walk and half marathon.Event Details
Downtown Petoskey Open House
Pennsylvania Park comes alive with the sounds of the Petoskey Steel Drum Band, and Downtown will be bustling with activity as the restaurants and merchants show off their new seasonal merchandise. Enjoy Downtown events in Pennsylvania Park, a movie in the park at dark on a huge inflatable movie screen, store activities and more.
The Mackinac Island Lilac Festival is the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors. Festivities include the coronation of the Lilac Festival Queen and Court, Lilac Festival 10K, horse drawn carriage tours, numerous concerts, wine tastings, A Taste of Mackinac Culinary Event, Mackinac Island Dog and Pony Show, the Lilac Festival Grand Parade and so much more.
The art world arrives Downtown Petoskey for the 16th annual Gallery Walk.
Participating art galleries greet guests from 6 - 9pm in an open-house format and offer delights for your eyes, ears, and taste buds.
Art lovers also could also win some fabulous art donated by the participating galleries. Each gallery you visit during the evening earns you another dot on your walking map, and each dot earns you a ticket to go in the drawing. Additional tickets are earned with each purchase you make. Thousands of dollars-worth of art is given away each year.
Bay Harbor Lake Marina will host the 14th annual In-Water Boat Show over Father's Day weekend. The show will feature the finest in watercraft from pleasure boats to mega-yachts and everything in between! Diverse land displays will also be a part of the show including a dynamic display of Mercedes, BMW and GEM cars from Fox Motors.Event Details
The Bay Harbor Vintage Car and Boat Festival kicks off the summer in northern Michigan with a fantastic collection of classic cars and wooden boats. The highlight of Vintage Weekend is the Parade of Vintage Cars and Display of Vintage Boats, held Saturday afternoon and capped off with a drive-by awards ceremony at 3:30pm.

Bay Harbor Fireworks
Come down to the Village at Bay Harbor and enjoy an always amazing show by the Petoskey Steel Drum Band, as well as balloon twisting and fun with Jania Taylor beginning at 8pm. Face Painting will be available for the kids as well. Fireworks Display over Bay Harbor Lake will commence at dusk. Come and get your seat on the lawn early, as it's always a spectacular show in Bay Harbor for fireworks night - July 3!

Charlevoix Arts & Craft Show
Combine one of the most picturesque settings in the state with a gathering of 150 artists and craftsmen from around the country, and the result is Charlevoix's 48th Annual Art & Craft Show.
This year's show has something for everyone, offering an exciting mix of fine arts and hobby crafts. Acrylic and oil paintings, sculpture, hand blown glass beadwork, pottery, baskets, furniture, clothing, hand woven rugs and quilted works are just a few of the things you will find. Petoskey's Art in the Park
Artists from all over the United States will descend upon Downtown Petoskey to show off their wares for the 30th year. Again this year, approximately 135 booths will grace Pennsylvania Park, with items ranging from pottery to jewelry, from paintings to photographs, and more.

Charlevoix's Waterfront Art Fair
Many of the nation's finest artists and craftsmen will be coming to the Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair to exhibit their best works. These have been chosen from over 1000 applicants who subject their work to the jury. This is a most difficult task since this fair attracts the finest, but only a limited number of spaces are available.
The Fair is always held the second Saturday in August and draws more than 25,000 art lovers to this resort town between Lake Michigan and Round Lake. It is the second oldest juried art fair in Michigan.
The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the 14th Annual Festival on the Bay at the Petoskey, Michigan waterfront. The walk begins at 7am. You may start walking anytime after the Governor's party starts the walk at approximately 7am. No one is permitted to start after 11am, so arriving early is recommended.
